Varsity Strength and Conditioning

No matter your sport, you want to build a solid base of fitness. Honing your craft in practice doesn’t leave a lot of time to build that base within a regular sport specific practice. That is where we come in! We focus on overall strength and conditioning in a supportive, safe and fun environment.

We want to help you build a strong base in endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. We believe that by combining these elements through strength training, gymnastics and conditioning we give you the edge up.

Not a sport athlete? No worries, our strength and conditioning course is still functional fitness and will help you approach life with a little more ease and pep!

We have a staff of knowledgeable, hard working coaches, with backgrounds in college, semi-professional and professional sport experience to help you reach your goals and push yourself further! All of our coaches are background checked and have completed a rigorous certification and internship period. 

CrossFit Thousand Lakes programming is purposely segmented to allow each individual the opportunity to focus on strength, endurance, or weightlifting. This gives all members the flexibility to jump into a CrossFit class to increase intensity or spend time focusing on a weakness without compromising their main goal.

With our Junior Varsity Athletes, we focus on all the same things as our varsity athletes but with a broader focus. Looking at creating healthy, holistic athletes prepped for anything!

Varsity athletes will train Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Fridays from 9:30-10:30am.  Junior Varsity will train at the same time Tuesday, Thursday and will join Varsity on Fridays for team building work every week!

What to Expect

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics in order to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or experienced individual. This is the reason this program gets acclaim from military personnel, professional athletes, soccer Moms, Dads and grandparents alike.

All of our classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.
